Travelling with Children

Requirements for Children
We follow the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) guidelines, and it is required for all individuals, including children, to provide a valid passport when travelling between Bermuda and the U.S.
Lap Children
BermudAir accepts lap children. Infants must be a minimum of 7 days old to travel. From 8 days until their second birthday, infants must be secured by means of a seatbelt which will be provided to you when you board the aircraft.
Allowing Strollers and Car Seats
Guests travelling with children under the age of 5 can bring up to two pieces of child equipment, free of charge:
  • Stroller and/or car seat or booster
  • Travel cot (all in hold only)
Additional pieces will be charged at a tax-included cost of US$100 (CA$135) per item subject to capacity. Items must be checked planeside and retrieved upon deplaning.
Unaccompanied Minors
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to carry unaccompanied minors on BermudAir. The minimum age for unaccompanied travel is 15 years.
Young Travellers
Passengers aged between 15-17 years are eligible for unaccompanied travel without restrictions. Bookings for Young Persons must be made exclusively through the Customer Call Centre.

Please note that in the event of flight disruptions, the parent or legal guardian of the Young Person will be held responsible for making any necessary arrangements beyond the scope of the airline.
