Airline Systems Support Analyst (Location – East Coast US)

The Airline Systems Support Analyst will be a key member of our operational support team with a wide range of responsibilities. You will need to be customer-orientated‚ empathetic‚ energetic and committed to delivering the highest levels of support with a "going above and beyond" attitude to work as well as having experienced the pleasures of working with airline systems.

You will work with our lovely colleagues from across the business helping to run and operate our core flight booking and airport software platforms.

What you'll do
  • Monitor and support all flight booking and operational systems (PSS and DCS) being used by the airline at both our airports and back offices to ensure they are functioning to optimum levels of performance.
  • Support and communicate with our airport staff‚ ground handlers‚ IT vendors‚ airport authorities‚ and government agencies to ensure our systems are aligned with operational needs.
  • Work with our system providers‚ airport teams‚ and other teams in the airline to resolve all technical or functional issues with the airport and/or flight booking system in a timely manner and ensure performance is maintained within agreed SLA’s.
  • Support BermudAir’s Distribution Manager in the resolution of questions from GDS vendors.
  • Work with system providers and other internal teams in the airline to plan‚ setup‚ test‚ deploy and train teams in new or enhanced systems functionality.
  • Support airport payment systems used by ground staff for the sale of ancillaries and upgrades.
  • Bring online new stations‚ working with airport IT infrastructure organisations to ensure that all online systems are tested and operational prior to operations commencing.
  • Work with airport IT infrastructure organisations to resolve connectivity issues impacting our systems.
  • Assist with the systems implementation at new airports as our route network expands.
  • Support the customer service and operations teams in dealing with selling or operational system issues.
  • Document systems processes to aid future staff onboarding and training.
  • Keep abreast of new technology trends that will drive operational efficiency improvements‚ enhance the customer experience‚ and lower costs.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree level education or equivalent industry experience
  • At least 1 years’ experience in the implementation and ongoing management and support of flight booking and airport IT systems e.g. PSS‚ DCS‚ CUSS‚ BHS/BRS‚ FIDS
  • Familiarity of airport rules and regulations which pertain to airport operations including FAA and TSA.

Skills
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making skills and the proven ability to take ownership of fault management from diagnosis through to resolution.
  • Provide work-related information verbally in a clear‚ well-organized and concise manner.
